Dr. Tom McCoy

Cofounder and Chief Clinical Officer


Dr. Tom McCoy is dual board certified in Family and Obesity medicine. He is Co-Founder of McCoy Medical and serves as Chief Clinical Officer of Health and Performance. Using a lifestyle concepts approach with an emphasis on the importance of community, McCoy Medical integrates their practices into facilities where health is truly created: local training facilities and therapy centers.

Dr. McCoy graduated from Cal State East Bay magna cum laude with a degree in biological sciences. He went on to obtain his osteopathic medical degree from Midwestern University where he was one of two dual degree students to obtain a Masters in Bioethics as well.  Dr. McCoy co-owns Chagrin Falls CrossFit where he coaches regularly. He has been an active voice for CrossFit Health, appearing in educational content and speaking at the 2021 and 2023 CrossFit Games on how the CrossFit methodology can be utilized to address some of the biggest health challenges around the globe.

Tom is an avid outdoorsman. He has a passion for backcountry bowhunting and works to supply as much of his family's food as possible. When not seeing patients or working out himself, he spends time on his family farm in Western Pennsylvania. Tom lives with his wife Caitlyn and two children in Northern Ohio, as close to the land as possible.

Jenn Pishko, MS

Cofounder and Director of Operations and Education


Jennifer believes that education and understanding is the foundation to successful behavior change. She uses her Masters Degree in Nutrition Education to support nutritional and lifestyle strategies for McCoy Medical patients all over the world. Jennifer is Co-Founder of McCoy Medical and serves as Director of Operations and Education.

In 2015 Jennifer founded Chagrin Falls CrossFit.  She works closely with the community to improve access to fitness for at-risk youth and the adaptive athlete community, many of whom have become members and gone on to participate in standard class offerings. 

She has numerous additional fitness and nutrition certifications including a post-graduate certificate in exercise science. Jennifer is certified through CrossFit as a Level 2 trainer and the Adaptive Training Academy. She holds an athlete-centered trauma certificate and Precision Nutrition.   Jennifer has additional training in program design for both the pre and post-natal period. 

Jennifer enjoys traveling the world speaking and educating small business owners on how to craft a successful Service Startup, centered around health and fitness, creating a truly integrated approach to Medicine 3.0.

Jennifer's home base in Northern Ohio, where she lives with her supportive husband and amazing two young children.
