McCoy Medical

-Live Like a Human-

Medicine 3.0 will not be found inside overcrowded clinics or understaffed hospitals. It will not be reliant on generating money through procedures and hospitalizations, but rather based on deep relationships with your care team, where the patient plays an active role versus being a passive observer.

Dr. Tom McCoy

Cofounder and Chief Clinical Officer

Dr. Tom McCoy brings dual board certification in Family and Obesity Medicine to his practice, with training from UCSF-affiliated Contra Costa Regional Medical Center. His comprehensive medical experience spans from primary care to critical care, including the unique privilege of delivering his own children.

After serving eight years as department chair at CCRMC, Dr. McCoy became Medical Director at Wild Health, a precision medicine company, where he led the athletic optimization division and helped grow the company from startup to public entity. His commitment to building meaningful patient relationships led him to co-found McCoy Medical, where he combines lifestyle medicine with community-centered care.

A magna cum laude graduate of Cal State East Bay and Midwestern University, Dr. McCoy holds both a osteopathic medical degree and a Master's in Bioethics. As a respected voice in healthcare, he frequently speaks internationally on metabolic health and the future of medicine.

Dr. McCoy's approach centers on patient education and personalized care. He believes in empowering patients to make informed decisions by helping them identify what matters most in their health journey, whether they're professional athletes or community members.

Beyond medicine, Tom is deeply connected to the land as an avid outdoorsman and bow hunter. He shares his life with his wife Caitlyn and two children in Northern Ohio, balancing his medical practice with time spent on his family farm in Western Pennsylvania.
